NonProfit 2.0 - Embracing the New Web
Seminar & Networking
"General Strategy and Best Practices"
Bringing together years of expertise in both the nonprofit world and the web 2.0 world, Dave Weinberg of Weinberg Consulting is producing this series of seminars, starting in Washington, DC. Each seminar will address specific areas in which organizations can benefit and learn from tools, techniques and best practices of the new web.
These
seminars will host some of the brightest minds and forward thinking
organizations and companies in the country who will share their
successes and failures in this new space.
The first seminar, "General Strategy and Best Practices", will be focused on broad themes in web 2.0 and social media.
Speakers include:
- Peter Corbett, CEO of iStrategyLabs
- Justin Thorp, Manager, Developer Community for Clearspring
- Wendy Harmon, Social Media Director for the American Red Cross.
Space is very limited and therefore restricted to employees of non-profit organizations, associations, government entities or academia.
Refreshments will be provided.
If you are part of a company and would like to attend the networking-only part of this seminar (after 5pm), you must register as a sponsor.
